Art East Quilting Co. Puffin Star Quilt Kit

John MacPhail of Art East Quilting Co. is a Patch teaching Alum and it seems only fitting to feature his work while showcasing local quilt artists. Currently located in Cape Breton, John sells his patterns and teaches his methods all over the world. He is beloved for his great work and kind and dynamic teaching style. His quilt designs are fun and whimsical and will give you lots of practice with precise piecing! We chose the Puffin Star Quilt to offer as a kit because it is a great example of his work and a true Maritime theme. Included in this kit you will find the Puffin Star Quilt Pattern and fabrics to make a 52.5” x 52.5” quilt. And although fabric is not included for future project, the pattern is laid out in a way that you can also create the large puffin block (15” x 15” finished) and small puffin block (8” x 8” finished) individually for smaller projects or different quilt layouts – we see pillows and wall hangings!
