Hand stitched Indian Ikat Kantha – Traditional
$50.00 /meter
Kantha is a centuries-old tradition of stitching patchwork cloth from rags, which evolved from the thrift of rural women in India. This fabric is made using that traditional method, but is in meterage for making all your garment dreams come true. Although it is similar to a quilt with two layers of cotton stitched together, there is no batting in between, so it is lightweight. Perfect for a jacket or top, or even a home dec project such as pillow or a throw. This one is a double sided patchwork in traditionally coloured pieces on one side, and golden earthy tones on the other.
