Intro to Quilting: Cutting and Piecing Basics
Sunday January 31st
This workshop is perfect for the sewist who wants to take a dive into the world of quilting. We will teach you the basics of quilting, beginning with explaining the elements of a quilt and teaching the practical skills of cutting with a rotary cutter and sewing with a quarter inch seam allowance while piecing a basic quilt block. Our goal with this class is to get a brand new quilter a little more primed for our lengthier quilt classes, or set you up to conquer a project on your own if we aren’t able to do classes and you have time to fill. You should have basic machine skills to take this class (one of ‘Intro to Sewing’ classes is sufficient) but you needn’t have any experience with quilting.
Workshop includes One 4 hour instruction session. Supplies extra. Full supply list given at time of registration.
