Intro to Sewing: Mask Making
Wednesday August 5
Seems like we might need to wear these for awhile, so we want to make it easy for you to make your own and learn a skill at the same time! Think of the fabric options! The pattern we will teach features a center seam that has shaping to accommodate the nose and chin. It also has two two layers of fabric, and a slot for a filter to be placed between layers. From XS – XL, this will fit most members of the family. These are NOT medical grade masks, but great for use in public spaces per the newest NS rules.
No sewing experience is required! If you are brand new, you will likely get one mask done, someone with a bit more experience might get a few done.
Workshop includes One 2.5 hour instruction session plus the pattern. Supplies extra. Full supply list given at time of registration.
