Maud’s House Block
Saturday January 15
Join us for the third in our ‘Block of the Month’ series featuring traditional Nova Scotian blocks sewn up with a modern edge. You can pick and choose as we roll them out, or do all of them and wind up with a sampler quilt! Join anytime, you aren’t missing out! Any way you take the classes, you will definitely wind up with a roster of skills to take on any patchwork project. Maud’s House uses simple piecing using a temlate and 60 degree angles. You will complete a 18″ block in class and if you choose not to do a full quilt, it would make a great bag or pillow or the sweetest bag ever. You should have basic machine and cutting skills to take this class, but quiltng experience is not necessary. If you have done one of our ‘Intro to Sewing’ classes such as the Market Bag, you are good to go!
Workshop includes one 4 hour instruction session. Supplies extra. Supply list will be given with registration.
