House Block

We are welcoming Gabbie Kelly back to our studio to make this sweet and simple pieced block that is a great starter project for someone looking to learn the basics of piecing. In this class you’ll make a quilt block inspired by the house of Nova Scotia folk artist, Maud Lewis. Finished measurements are 16.5″ x 16.5″. Use your finished block to create a tote bag, pillow, wall-hanging or use it in your next quilt sampler project!

You do not need piecing experience to take this class but you should be familiar with using a rotary cutter. Our Intro to Quilting class would be the perfect accompaniment to this, but is not a prerequisite.
