Summer Sewing Camp : Beginner August 9 – 13
When school is out, sewing is on! Get them using their hands and minds while they spend the week making a series of useful projects which will also teach them valuable sewing skills. Our classes are small, which means that each child gets their own machine and plenty of hands on instruction on how to use it. In this session we will be dipping to tie dye and then making shorts out of our unique fabric we have created. This beginner camp is perfect for young people with no sewing experience, but varied enough to also be fun for kids who already sew. Students will leave with these handmade items plus they will become comfortable using a sewing machine and enjoy the confidence that comes with learning a new skill. Age 8 – 12 recommended. Class size is 6 kids to 1 instructor and masks are mandatory for participants
