The Wildwood Wrap Dress Tuesdays April 20, 27 & May 4
The Wildwood Wrap Dress is a stylish and easy wear, and a great learning pattern for an intermediate sewer.. It is a true wrap dress, although with a detached belt. The beauty of this dress is created by the drape of the shawl collar and enhanced by the waist and shoulder pleats. It has generous front pockets, and a slim skirt with a wide, faced hem. French seams are used to construct the upper bodice so version B looks pretty once the sleeves are rolled up. This pattern is rated intermediate due to the skirt facing technique and French seamed shawl collar and shoulders. To take this class you should be comfortable using a commercial pattern and have made a number of garments. This is a great challenge for people looking to make something special and learn some more advanced finishing. This pattern also comes in an inclusive size range.
Workshop includes three 3 hour instruction sessions and patter. Supplies are extra. Full supply list given at time of registration.
