Zero Waste Parasol Dress or Top
Fridays September 9, 16 & 23

Skill Level

If you’re not familiar with zero waste sewing patterns, they are sewing patterns that require no paper pattern and use most (if not all!) of your fabric by being arranged to use the full width and specified length. It is more like a sewing jigsaw than a pattern, that you can use to create beautiful wearable garments. And by using the zero waste method to cut patterns and fabric, you also lessen your carbon footprint and save fabric, paper and time – a win-win-win for us and the planet! This workshop uses the Parasol Dress or Top from Cris Wood, which is a great project for an advanced beginner sewist looking to expand their knowledge (and wardrobe!). This workshop is suitable for someone who has some experience making clothing, probably not suited best first timer.

Workshop includes: 3 three hour instruction sessions. Instrsuctions and supplies extra. Full supply list provided upon registration.

Instructor: Kat Penner

Time:  6 – 9 each evening
